Guide to registering and enrolling into a course – (LMS365)

Registering for a course 
‌1. Register for access to the Hearing Australia learning portal via www.HearingAustraliaLearning.com.au Please note that registering will only give you access to the portal, in order to access and attend a session, you will need to enrol into the course. Information on how to enrol into a course is outlined in step 12 of this guide. 
‌2. Enter your email address 
‌3. Select your setting type that you work in, from the setting type drop down list from a choice of: 
 ‌   - Health Care Setting 
‌    - Primary School 
‌    - Early childhood Education and Care Service 

‌‌4. Select from the drop-down list your service type (applicable for Health Care and ECEC) 
‌5. Select your workplace position from the drop-down list. If your position is not listed, select ‘other’ and fill in the open-text field. 
‌6. Enter in your name (this will go on your certificate of completion) ‌

7. Part one - Enter in the name of your organisation (workplace) and workplace details.
    Part two – Once you have entered the information, click ‘submit.’ See below example:

Why do we ask for this information?
• We need your email address so that we can ensure you receive confirmation of account creation, to enable access to courses, to email you links to ‘live’ classroom sessions and to send you your certificate of completion.
• We need you to identify your workplace setting and position so that we can ensure that the course content offered to you in the portal is appropriate and relevant to you and your workplace.
• We ask for your service type so that any follow up support offered can be tailored to your setting. A copy of our privacy statement is accessible here: Privacy Statement - Learning Portal
8. Once you have clicked ‘submit’ the below screen will appear:

9. You will then receive an email acknowledging your registration and a link to follow to access the learning portal. (Please check your “Junk” mail folder if you haven’t received your email within 5 minutes). The email may look like this:

10. Please click the link in the email to access the portal

11. You will then be prompted to login to your account. Enter your email password and click Sign in.

12. Review the permission request and click accept to proceed to the learning portal.


‌Enrolment into a course

‌13. Once in the portal please select the course catalogue to view the training dates and times for each course.

14. Select the session that you require and click ‘View Course’


‌You will then be able to see a description of the course as well as information regarding the date and time of the available sessions.

15. Please select the date and time of the session that you would like to attend and then ‘Enrol to Course’ – this will enrol you to the session (See image below).

16. Once you have enrolled in a course you will receive two emails. The first email acknowledges your enrolment in the course. You do not need to do anything with this email.

The second email is your course invitation email with an MS Teams link to the session. if you accept the meeting invitation the link will be populated in your Outlook calendar.

‌17. To access the training click the MS Teams link in your calendar on the day of the session.
